style over 50 : 2 outfits, 2 compliments!

Wow!  2 outfits & 2 compliments in 1 day, heck that deserves a post!   In this post, 2 outfits I wore running around town that got a couple of charming comments!

Let’s get to the goods, the 2 outfits and the 2 compliments!  These are the 2 looks that resonated with the two sweeties who were inspired to let me know :)).  Awww the best!

2 outfits, 2 charming comments

first look :  grabbing morning coffee & a mani (Yo Netherlands in 2 days!).  This look was honestly all outerwear & earrings.  Just got my haircut and now I’m back into earrings and loving it.  I gravitated to this onesie (which I haven’t worn in years!) because of the thick pink cotton and felt it really complimented my earrings.  And love the details of my cashmere Mayle coat.  Again, thought it paired well with the earrings.  UGG boots cause I needed cozy.  Pics coming friends!

first charming comment : “I love your earrings (then the quick scan), you always look great”… Honestly, how nice to start your day :))

second look : mid day, running an errand and grabbing a snack at Foxtrot.  I switched my fit cause I wanted more comfy cozy.  So I layered a sweatshirt + cashmere cardi + knit scarf.  AND this denim skirt is so surprising, so soft.  So same reason I reached for my ages-old over-the-knee boots by Loeffler Randall.  They’re just as buttery as my skirt, that makes for a great combo in my book.

second charming comment : “I love your style.  Keep your cool!”  (nice he got a kick out of my sweatshirt 🙂 )

The two Gen Zer’s were so genuine so endearing.  I swear, I felt their love & appreciation.

The cutest Loba Pastry + Coffee where the first charming comment happened, def deserves a shout-out.  Every single pastry is a stand-out with gluten free & vegan options :)). I am on an Emmie obsession right now, but equally love the pineapple sourdough muffins.  Of course, lovely space and super nice vibe.
