Mexico City, you are next level. Claiming most museums (in the world) and largest urban green space. I’m personally adding in, most sophisticated. In this post, why it’s all praise for Mexico City and sharing the top 3 under the radar must-do’s in CDMX and what to wear inspirations.
This is a city that should be experienced by all. Your soul has no choice than to be filled and fullfilled when you surround yourself with all this delish culture and lush inviting green spaces. It’s not the high altitude that’s got you buzzing, it’s Mexico City all!
In this post, 3 must-see cultural spaces and what to wear in Mexico inspirations
3 Under-the-Radar Must-Do’s in Mexico City
#1 Lago Algo
The first and favorita of the 3 must-do’s is the Lago Algo cultural space. She’s unassumingly situated in the middle of Chapultepac Park…peacefully invoking you to come in with hammocks & swings. We started this sensual adventure with their food & restaurant space first…the food was delicious and the space just breathtaking. Followed by strolling through the space itself. Get ready, simply strolling through is amazing. Then lastly taking in the most moving & playful art exhibit, Wooh by Simon Fujiwara.
#2 Meroma
#2 of my top 3 must-do’s in Mexico City is the most delicious under the radar, Meroma in Roma Norte. I have no words for what we ate that day. Just prepare to have your mind blown. The tapas with marinated blue shrimp was the best one bite known to man. And a must-order is the Mergez Orecchiette. I’ve also heard the fish collar is a must-order. I have to mention, being lead to our table was a treat in itself. So much amazing design, I could not take it all in! Then there’s the most charming 2nd floor outdoor terrace space (where we sat!) perfect for serenades and people watching.
#3 Laguna
and last, but certainly not least at #3, we have Laguna & Buna Coffee. Similar to the other two special places, this place is as inviting, creative, productive & peaceful. Formally a textile / yarn factory, now turned indoor/outdoor cultural space w studios, cafes & coffee shops. The entrance is discreet with no sign, a doorbell to the right & a sign in. Once in, it opens up into a an inspirational space for peeps to gather to work, catch up and even engage in a game of chess :)) . And of course, there’s a fantastic coffee spot, Buna, brewing exceptional coffee. Laguna is in the same neighborhood as Meroma, so it’s easy to hit for an afternoon coffee pick me up.
Hope you all get to visit these very special places :)). Your soul & taste buds will thank you!!
