Style Over 50 – Casual Flip Flops!

You know what I dig about summer? Flip Flops!  It’s the pure simple ease of them.   Plus you feel like an absolute queen/king if you’ve got a fresh pedi going on.   In this post, flip flop brands, flip flop inspirations and where to buy some fab flip flops.

They’re called tsinelas (chee-nay-las) in tagalog…it’s the shoe/slipper that each filipino family member has easy 3 maybe 4 pairs. I’ve witnessed construction workers {in the Philippines} up on scaffolding w full confidence in their tsinelas/ flip flops! It’s probs safe to say, it’s part of our culture and part of my DNA, so by default flip flop expert here!

I’m sharing my tried & true, go-to brand, one fashion forward brand showing you that flip flops are still in fashion and then lastly, an inspiring look that would be fun and worth trying!

Yume Yume has been on my radar ever since I came across their totally tubular cutie Suki and I was sold.  Fun fashion with a great soul (and sole lol), vegan leather uppers and biodegrable packaging.  Fantastic vibe of unique & playful.  Fashion, fashion, fashion just the way we like it.

These are more known as flip flop sandals 🙂
