My one must-pack for Mexico City, the track pant! Track Pant Outfits for CDMX

Im leaving for CDMX next week and planning my pack.  In this post, the one must-pack-track-pant for Mexico City and track pant outfits!

I’ve been reaching for my track pant all winter long, so of course, it’s definitely in the must-pack pile.  I find the track pant as the comfiest and possibly the most unexpectedly versatile pant in my wardrobe.  My track pant of choice is the Adicolor Classics Oversized SST Track Pants from Adidas. 

Track Pant Outfits!

The first look that comes to mind is worn with a 1) simple tee.  Style it any way you’d like…tucked, half tucked, untucked knotted etc.  I went for a fun colored tee and paired with some leather flip flops.  My tee is by Stine Goya .  I also dig these tees , this tee and this pink turtleneck for cooler days. 

For those slightly cooler days or evening…I’m tossing on 2) a chunky knit + knit bucket (cause the textures are calling to me).  This chunky knit vest is by Our Legacy found in the mens dept.  Loving all the chunky knits by Regina Pyo and also this cool one by Henrik Vibskov.  Super cutie bucket hat handmade by Ciprianamia.

For strolling the museums, galleries or catching a fab lunch or dinner, pair that track with 3) an interesting blazer like this cutout one from Rachel Comey and a boot.  My boot is vintage found in Lawrence, KS but dig these!

And always back to 4) a button up…it’s the menswear aesthetic in me that is always wanting to bust out.  This one by Band of Outsiders, is easily 15yrs old and has proven to be the workhorse of all workhorse pieces in my wardrobe.
